Description
IWAVE FIM-2450 drone HDMI and SDI video transmitter and serial data downlink provides robust video and control channels for big drones(VTOL/Fixed wing drone) with HDMI, SDI and IP video input. It delivers full HD video and MAVLINK flight control data wireless mobile communication without any infrastructure for 50km.
FIM-2450 drone camera transmitter is based on enhanced TDD-COFDM technology, which gives FIM-2450 an ability to support high throughput up to 6Mbps in the video channel and superior robustness in the control channel when distance is 50km range.
Onboard unit of FIM-2450 weights only 160grams.
Video channel can be easily connected through the HDMI interface, SDI interface and Ethernet interface. Serial interfaces can be used for the control channel.

800Mhz and 1.4G Band Operation
FIM-2450 drone long range video transmitter uses the 806 to 826Mhz and 1428-1448Mhz frequency range to avoid interfering with aircraft control systems, which are usually 2.4 GHz.
FHSS for Anti-interference
Automatic Frequency Hopping Spread Sprectrum (FHSS) will choose the best available channel to be used for anti-interference.
SDI/HDMI/IP Camera input
Video Input: Ethernet port for IP camera, mini hdmi port for HDMI camera and SMA port for sdi camera.
Video Outout: HDMI, SDI and Ethernet.
Flight Control
FIM-2450 has two full duplex serial ports. They are able to wireless transmit the control signal for flight controller fixed on the UAV. It has been smoothly work with pixhawk 2 /cube/v2.4.8/4 , Apm2.8, etc. Ground software support Mission planner and QGround.
Encrypted Transmission
FIM-2450 drone digital video transmitter employs AES128 for the video encryption to ensure no one unauthorized is able to intercept your video feed.
